Progeny HID Proximity Credentials

Credential is the generic name given to a token used for indetification. The token may be a 'card', 'key fob', 'vehicle tag' or 'self adhesive dot'.  These credentials are offered in a range of shapes and sizes to suit different applications.  The cards offer the best choice if the credential is going to also carry some form of visual identification or Photo ID.

2041 as 2042 but with HICO magnetic strip on back.  Ideal for multi-application integration.

2042 Fully ISO credit card sized RFID card. Graphics quality surface for use with all direct image printers.

2043 Small enough to fit on a key ring. Very convenient for main door access when carried with other keys.

2044 This is a 1.9mm thick, credit card sized RFID credential. Mounted in a durable packaging and provides and provides consistent read range. Flat on one side, it can accept a photo ID label.

2045 Attaches easily to mobile phones, PDAs and other objects. This self adhesive credential can be used to upgrade an exisitng magstripe card to dual technology.

2046 Active card/vehicle tag offers up to 2 metre read range when used with 2051 reader. Replaceable battery can give two to five year life.

P2 Credentials

The P2 system has three credential type to choose from: the ISO card, key fob or sticky dot. Sticky dots are great to add on to exisitng ID cards and offer a cost effective solution to replace cards. Simply affix the sticky dot to the back of an exisitng ID card. This removes the need to carry two separate cards; one for identification and the other for access control. Credentials are easy to order as the P2 system does away with site coded cards and replaces them with unique numbers .  This means that credentials are readily available off the shelf and users need not wait for cards to be specially programmed.  Credential types can be mixed and matched and are all available for the same low price.

Bar Code

The barcode must be printed with a true black ribbon or ink if it is to be read by the 2030 Infrared reader. Barcodes printed using YMC colour processes will not be seen in infrared.  If the cards must be printed in this way use the 2030VL reader.
